Lawyers for 2020 NDC Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama have written to the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah asking for the petition hearing to take off at 11:30am.
The court is slated to deal with a request by Mr. Mahama asking that it sets aside its earlier ruling that it cannot compel Jean Mensa to testify.
Mr. Lithur in his letter to the Chief Justice says he received electronic copies of documents filed by the respondents opposing this review request Wednesday night.
He is therefore urging the court to let proceedings take off at 11:30am.
While it is not clear whether this is what has occasioned the late start of proceedings Thursday morning, the registrar of the court, Mathew Antiaye announced that proceedings will take off at 11:30 am.
