Primary, secondary and tertiary students in Walewale who patronise the municipal library have appealed to government to rehabilitate the facility.
They want it stocked to help boost their academic work.
The Municipal Library has been in a very deplorable state with ripped off roofings, broken chairs and tables.
It lacks reading books and research materials necessitating the closure of the facility which has not been renovated for a long time.
The poor condition of the facility has affected patronage as students have resorted to learning at night only under streetlights and around worship centres amidst distractions from passersby and vehicles.
