A 24-year-old lady is pleading with the Ghana Nurses and Midwifery Council (GNMC), to help her regain admission into the Bolgatanga Midwifery School.
Saddique Mariama, a second year student of the school, lost her place when the Principal of the school sent her home after she sought medical attention at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
She told Joy News the Principal has blatantly refused to readmit her even after she provided documentary proof of her full recovery.
The Principal of the school has declined to comment on the issue.
The GNMC has promised to investigate the matter thoroughly and to act appropriately.
