We’ve all heard fans sing out loud to lyrics of their club's anthems in stadiums across Europe and these anthems do not only serve as a source of identification for clubs, they’re also a rallying point for fans, supporters and board managers.
Back in Ghana, Asante Kotoko is not left out. The ‘fontonfrom’ is a legendary introduction on Ghana’s football scene and the sound sends reverberations through the faithful of the Kumasi-based club.
However, the story behind the Kotoko anthem is still a mystery.
