Ace Ghanaian Music Producer, Kwame Micky has revealed that Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has paid him for using Dr Paa Bobo’s ‘Osobro kyee’ in his 'Sobolo' song.
In an interview on Asempa FM's Tete-a-Tete Show, he told host Adu Kumi that Stonebwoy did not give him, the producer, prior notice before using the song.
He added, however, that after deliberations with the artiste, they agreed on an amount to be paid for using Dr Paa Bobo's song.
“He called a lawyer, apologized to me and he was able to pay something,” he said
Stonebwoy reproduced some lines of the famous, ‘Osobro kyee’ in his ‘Sobolo’ hit track, produced by the Bhim Band, directed by Babs direction and mixed by kaywa and released in May 2020.

Meanwhile, in a live recording session of ‘Sobolo’ with his Bhim band, Stonebowy eulogized the legend, Dr Paa Bobo for his immense contribution to Ghanaian Highlife music.
He said at the latter part of the live recording, “Sweet sweet highlife music from the coasts of Ghana, the red, gold, green and the black star. Highlife music is the originator, the origination and the foundation of the Afrobeat music we have today. This one is taken from the archives, the classical archives of the great one, the legendary one…DR. PAA BOBO.”
