A Breman Asikuma magistrate court has fined a 25-year-old steel bender 450 Ghana cedis for stealing 12 pieces of iron rods valued at 900 Ghana Cedis belonging to his landlady.
Kwaku Dawuda pleaded guilty.
Prosecuting Police Chief Inspector Gershon Awuyeeh told the court that Dawuda, a steal bender was engaged by Madam Phillips Moses to work on her building.
He said on June 17 someone saw Dawuda collecting the iron rods he had hidden in a bush near the building site to another place and reported him to the owner who informed the police.
