The National Under-17 Team, the Black Starlets will on Wednesday, October 1, begin preparations towards the final round qualifiers of the 8th African Under-17 Championship in Algeria next year.
The Starlets are scheduled to play their Gambian counterparts in the first leg of the qualifiers on November 9, in Accra, with the second leg fixed for November 23, in Banjul.
Head coach Emmanuel Akwesi Afranie has therefore extended invitation to 30 players for camping at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence, Prampram.
Mr Emmanuel Gyimah, Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association in a press release copied to GNA Sports said the invited players include James Nkansah, Ernest Adu, Philip Adu, Isaac Eshun, Moro Ibrahim, Abeiku Ainooson, Basit Masawudu, Aaron Amoah, Mubarak Moro, Kwame Frimpong, Alhassan Mohammed, Felix Adjei, Nsor Kwame, Bortey Fidel, Frank Opoku Acheampong, Samed Ibrahim, Emmanuel Odoi and Mahatma Otoo.
The rest are Fatau Mohammed, Kingsley Kwakye, Tahiru Malik, Paul Manu, Issah Mumuni, Evans Ofosu-Antwi, Tuffour Frimpong, Bismark Adu Twum, Bright Addae, Joseph Owusu Bempah, Jamal Hamidu and Ebo Andoh.
