Minister-designate for Sports and Creation, Kofi Adams, has hinted at the possibility of a review of the Black Stars ‘revamped’ technical team.
The Ghana Football Association announced Winfried Schäfer, 75, as the new Director of Football and Technical adviser, a decision that has raised eyebrows due to the presence of an already existing Technical Director of the GFA.
Kofi Adams confirmed in an interview with Accra based Sporty FM, he would look into Schäfer’s appointment to make sure its value for money.
“If what Winfried Schäfer is providing can be found here and would cost us less, then we would have to review the list of the technical team of the Black Stars,” he said.
Schäfer is part of a newly augmented Black Stars technical team which sees Otto Addo remain as Head Coach.
