Tema Real Sportive on Wednesday beat visiting Berekum Arsenals 2-1 in their Onetouch Premier league match played at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium, Cape Coast.
Arsenals attacked first and took the lead in the 29th minute through midfielder James Boadu with a header.
Sportive quickly returned the attack and following a series of incursions into the Arsenals vital area, the Tema lads got the equalizer in the 30th minute from a well taken free-kick by outside left Fuseini Nuhu.
After the break Samuel Nzemaba of Sportive was shown the red card for a second bookable offence in the 47th minute while Yusif Ali of Arsenals was also given the marching off orders for a similar offence in the 50th minute.
Playing with ten men each, Sportive marched their opponents squarely but had to wait until the 82nd minute when Evans Aidoo scored the match winner for his side.
