On Monday, it was reported that a 40-year-old social activist who was attacked by an angry mob at Ejura Saturday dawn had died.
The deceased, Ibrahim Mohammed, was attacked by two assailants, who have allegedly been arrested by the Police. He was repeatedly struck on the head with objects until he lost consciousness.
This news has left many Ghanaians and some youth in Ejura in shock. While others took their anger to their online platforms, the youth in the area took to the street demanding justice for the murdered social activist.
Charley, this guy did nothing wrong to warrant being butchered to death.

This is sad...! pic.twitter.com/OSiCBHTxwY
Pressing home their demand for justice, the youth who hit the street were met by the military and the police.
Initially, the military started shooting into the sky but at some point when the protesters charged, they started shooting into the crowd.
This has left two people dead and four others injured. The situation has gotten Ghanaians across the country reacting to the happenings in Ejura.

So why are they shooting?
You don’t just go to a protest ground and start shooting human beings like they are animals.
This isn’t a war zone @NAkufoAddo . These are the people that voted you to power. You can’t intimidate us.#FixTheCountry #FixthecountryGhana #WeAreAllKaaka https://t.co/HjGAbqUVBp— FIX THE COUNTRY GHANA 🇬🇭 NOW (@yayra_trillion) June 29, 2021
This is not right. We can’t do this to our selves. Politicians are not above the laws. They can even kill for power. Kaaka’s death shouldn’t be in vain. Ejura Stand up!! The rest of the country will follow soon. They can kill us all..#WeAreAllKaaka

Just a few months ago, people died at the hands of military persons during Ghana's election. That remains unresolved and now this. What at all is happening?
