Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly called Wizkid, is one of the many personalities trending on the social media platform Twitter on Friday.
This is because the 'Ojuelegba' hitmaker born in 1990 turns 31 today, July 16.
Since morning, social media users across the world have showered blessings on the Nigerian singer and songwriter.
Comments coming through have praised him for putting Africa on the global market with his hits songs.
Some users have gone as far as describing Wizkid as the 'Lord of Afrobeat'.

Wizkid in 2011 rose to prominence after releasing "Holla at Your Boy", the lead single from his debut studio album, Superstar.
He achieved international recognition following his collaboration with rapper Drake on the global hit "One Dance", which reached number one in 15 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, among others in 2016.
In 2019, Wizkid featured on Beyoncé's project - The Lion King: The Gift on the collaboration 'Brown Skin Girl', which won him a Grammy Award for Best Music Video. He released his fourth album, Made in Lagos, in October 2020.
