A 24 year-old soccer fan at Ahenbronoso in Techiman died mysteriously after watching the Ghana-Brazil under 17 football match on Wednesday.
The deceased, Thomas Kwaku, an electrical welder, has since been buried.
John Wesley, Headmaster of the Ackompanin L/A Primary School, said his nephew died as a result of Ghana's victory over Brazil.
He said the deceased who was over excited with the victory decided to go and repair his bicycle but fell off and died on the spot.
