Officials from the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) have questioned the former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr Robert Ahomka-Lindsay.
He was questioned on a number of issues ranging from allegations that he took undue allowances and used GIPC funds to purchase airline tickets for his family, family sources told Joy Business News.
Mr Ahomka-Lindsay, who was appointed by the Kufuor administration, was asked to proceed on leave on Monday May 18, 2009 by a letter signed by the Secretary to President J.E.A. Mills.
He told Joy News a day after his dismissal that he was embarrassed and devastated by circumstances surrounding his removal from office.
