The SGI Secretariat Coordinator Osei Bonsu Dickson paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Naval Staff Commander Rear Admiral Issah Yakubu at the Naval Command on March 31.
Present were Commodore Bessing, and Commander Atiayao, Director, Operations and Lt. Commander Doudu, Naval Secretary among others.
The SGI Coordinator was accompanied by Josephine Ashia SGI Administrator and other officials of the SGI Secretariat.
The meeting discussed national security concerns including the possibility of integrating new national policies including the National Integrated Maritime Strategy (NIMS) into the training curricular of recruited naval officers and other trainees of other security institutions in the country.
Rear Admiral Yakubu reiterated the importance of the study of strategy in security studies and pledged support to the initative of strategic studies in dealing with emerging threats confronting the country.
