In most working environments, teamwork is strongly encouraged.

Apart from the emphasis on teamwork, there is also a stress on the need for colleagues to trust one another and demonstrate genuine love and concern.

Michael’s office had these virtues in abundance. His colleagues were very cooperative. They worked together as a unit; celebrated their successes together and took blame as a family.

This gave Michael a refreshing sense of belongingness; such that instead of boredom, he found delight in his work.

Every morning, he looked forward to meeting a circle of colleagues who were not only united in their cause, but also friendly in their interactions. It was all bliss for Michael until he took an interest in one of his colleagues in the office.

Michael felt that, he could build a lasting relationship with this colleague, who had captured his attention.

Michael’s crush was not a typically busty lady. However, other physical compartments of her body were a delight to watch. Her eyes were delicate, and she stood on thighs which were thick enough to sustain her tempting back side.

Burning with passion, Michael decided to go for the jugular. Ordinarily, when you generate affections for a woman, it is advised for you to be patient in your approach and sly in your strategies. This is because, outright advances usually fall on the rocks, leading to disappointments.

Let me put this in plain language. It is not smart for you to quickly propose to a woman the moment you start having feelings for her. This is because, some women interpret early proposals as desperation, and in most cases, they are inclined to bounce it off with a ‘no’.

Others also see early proposals as a man’s subtle way of getting their backs to touch his pillow (Think deeper a little … lol).

Under the circumstances, those who are seasoned in the dynamics of love often admonish that, men must be more tactful in shooting their shots, so that they don’t send the wrong signals.

But it appeared Michael was not convinced by all of these suggestions. As a result, he made his intentions known to his new office crush, without mincing words. What was the outcome? Your guess is as good as mine.

Just like the anguish politicians go through when they are defeated at the polls, Michael was subjected to a similar ordeal. His crush threw his proposal to his face; and that left him emotionally beaten, battered and distraught. It ended in tears for Uncle!

But being a man of dogged determination, Michael weathered through the hurt and kept his hopes alive. Even though his productivity was not affected, the office, which was once his destination of warmth, suddenly became a place of mild discomfort.

As a result, Michael stepped out of the office occasionally to take intermittent strolls. On one of such strolls, he decided to stop by the plantain seller to grab a few fingers.

“Piiiiiiiiii …..”. A car honked repeatedly to arrest Michael’s attention. Michael wondered who it was that was making all the ‘noise’ behind him.

He turned in fury; ready to confront this disturber who was interfering with his peaceful stroll.

Just when he was about to open his mouth to vent, a warm smile greeted him. The lady who had been honking lowered the glass of her car after Michael finally stopped.

“Diana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”, Michael yelled in excitement.

Diana and Michael had been a thing before. Unfortunately, their union was brought to an abrupt end after Diana travelled outside to advance her studies.

In the process, they lost each other’s contact, and that ended their union.

Seeing Diana after six years, was therefore a pleasure. The rest was history.

A stroll that was being taken to lessen the impact of a rejected proposal turned out to be the very occasion for the arrival of a good news.

At this point, it should be obvious that, sometimes the same ugly experiences we encounter can set the tone for unexpected goodness for us.

Do you now see why your current afflictions should not break you completely?

Dear friend, something good is coming your way. Your current setbacks will be the launchpad for a miracle you never anticipated.

Like Michael, you’ll find love in the midst of your tears; Money you never worked for; healing that defies medical explanation and peace that confounds your accusers.
