"The higher form of security in marriage depends upon your spousal relationship with God," that is according to Marriage counsellor and President of Couples Boardroom, Mr Louis Annor-Acquah.
Mr. Annor-Acquah says that marriage is ministry, so when a spouse is saved the marriage is saved.
In an interview with JoyNews, he emphasised that many Christians lose their marriages due to forgiveness, secrecy, pride, insecurity, mistrust among others.
He said he and his team are starting the program 'Save People, Save Marriage' in Kumasi following the increasing cases of abuse and murder in marriages.
The event, which is expected to last a lifetime, will be door-to-door campaign which will engage married couple on better married life.
Mr Annor-Acquah said if one is saved by God as a Christian, they must save their marriages too adding that, the God factor must be acknowledged in every marriage.
“If you are saved by God as a Christian, you must save your marriage," he stated.
He added that Christianity is part of marriage, therefore the God factor must be acknowledged in every marriage.
Mr Annor-Acquah also condemned the recent killing of wives and girlfriends, and cautioned participants to be very vigilant when choosing life partners.
Participants at the maiden edition shared their concerns and suggested the event should be organized every three months.
