The annual Royal Praise celebrations will come off this Sunday, December 24 at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC –Atomic), ‘The City On A Hill.’
The praise and worship programme provides a platform for the church and other Christians to come together and give resounding, spirit-filled and praise to God Almighty.
Led by the Royal Vessels Incorporated, the Music Ministry of the PIWC – ATOMIC, it is expected to be thrilling and captivating.
This year’s edition is themed 'TOWDAH'.
Towdah comes in the form of confession, hymns of thanksgiving, praises, sacrifice of thanksgiving, and thanks offering.
“Our Focus this year is on that part of Towdah which causes us to sing praises together as one community in harmony”, the group said.
“This is the type of thanksgiving offering where we do not consider our circumstances with our natural eyes, but we look only through the eyes of faith at our God, our deliverer. TOWDAH believes God for the impossible and releases the power and wisdom of God on our behalf as we praise (Towdah) Him”, it added.
Royal Praise began in 2000
Royal Praise started as the Carols Night Programme of PIWC in 1998 and has since the year 2000 been in this form.
It has been blessed with great ministers such as the Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Tagoe Sisters, Minister Joe Mettle, Rev Nana Yaw Boakye (also known as MOG) , the Harmonious Choral, to mention a few.
In addition to supporting church activities with its music ministration as its main mission, the Royal Vessels Incorporated also embarks on schools’ outreach and other evangelistic programmess to win lost souls for Christ.
The group has also produced household names such as Dina Hamilton, Jeshurun Okyere as well as Marko.
The Royal Vessels continues to give birth to enterprising gospel ministers such as Ama Akyea Taylor, Ntiwaa Debbie, Yaa Adoma, Ella Osei, among many, who continue to be a blessing to the body of Christ in recent years.
Through prayers and support from the Resident Minister, Apostle Tony Mensah, the group has recorded and release a single album, titled ‘REJOICE’. It is hoping to build on it in order to enjoy airplay on both the digital and electronic media.
