The Koforidua branch of the Royal House Chapel International has presented items worth about GH¢25,000 and in addition, renovated the delivery ward of the Children's hospital at the Koforidua Regional Hospital.
The items included toiletries, non-alcoholic beverages, bottles of water, wheelchairs, pulse oximeter, digital bp apparatus, infrared thermometers, bedsheets among others.
The church also fed the staff of the ward together with the children and their families.

The ward was adopted by the Apostle General, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, General Overseer of the church in the year 2016 when he visited the Koforidua Prisons as part of the church's compassion ministry.
The building which once looked dilapidated was given a new life after masonry; plumbing, electrical and carpentry works were carried out.

Also, the appliances in the ward including television set, fridge, and air conditions as well as the curtains and beds were all replaced.
Presenting the items, head pastor of the Koforidua branch, Rev. Paul Okyere Boateng said the gesture was also to observe the birthdate of the General Overseer and Pastor Mrs. Okyere Boateng who is also a nursing officer at the regional hospital.

Rev Okyere Boateng said the Lord has lifted the church high and therefore expects the church to extend that blessing to the less privileged in society.

A senior paediatric nurse, Yvonne Gaise who received the items on behalf of the hospital expressed their gratitude to the church for the gesture.
