Veteran former Barcelona player, Ronaldinho was Latin America’s best player of 2013 according to a poll of 200 sports journalists from the region which was undertaken by Uruguay’s El País newspaper.
The Brazilian star was already honoured by the "America and Europe respond to El País" poll - which started in 1986 – on three other occasions, although as 'The King of Europe' for his performances at Barcelona between 2004 and 2006.
Ronaldinho, currently at Atlético Mineiro received 156 votes, ahead of Brazilian Neymar – crowned King of the Americas for the past two years - with 81 votes and Argentina’s Maximiliano Rodríguez with 79.
