Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has revealed that robbers invaded his 12-bedroom house located at Kasoa in the Central Region.
According to him, the incident happened when he and two other pastors he lives with had gone to preach and left no one but their dogs in the house.
Speaking in an interview on One Ghana TV, Kumchacha said that their house had been locked and secured hence they were taken aback when they got home to see the doors and windows opened or broken.
He noted that the robbers had fed his dogs some food laced with chemicals which ensured they could not bark so they [robbers] could gain access into the house.
The founder and leader of Heaven's Gate Ministry stated that the robbers then destroyed his burglar proofs that secured his windows and entered the house.
The robbers made away with ¢10,000 and a laptop after they ransacked the house, Kumchacha said.
When asked why he did not have security at post, he explained that he had laid off his previous security men after they had slept on the job. The security company had promised to give him new men.
Kumchacha said he has reported the case to the police. He revealed that they have taken his statement and been to his come to collect evidence to begin investigating.
The pastor applauded the police's efforts.
He said added that the investigator in charge of the case and the police division have been very patient and trying their best to ensure the robbers are caught.
