The Tema Circuit Court 'A' on Monday remanded Kwame Frimpong, unemployed, in prison custody for raiding a filling station at Ashaiman.
Frimpong, whose plea was not taken, would re-appear on September 27.
Police Inspector Adolphus Otchere said Mr Nuru Dini is a filling station attendant at the Kube Krom Number One Filling Station at Ashaiman.
He said on August 22, Frimpong together with two other accomplices now at large, went to the filling station and while Frimpong kept watching, his accomplices attacked Mr Dini and his friend with locally manufactured guns and a cutlass and demanded the day's sales.
Mr Dini raised an alarm while struggling with them but the two at large fired at a witness who came to the rescue of the attendant.
The prosecution said after collecting one million cedis from the station attendant, the two together with Frimpong, fled.
A neighbour shot at them, hitting Frimpong in the leg. His colleagues took him to the Tema General Hospital where police arrested him.
