The Managing Director of Right to Dream Academy Eddie Mensah says he feels proud knowing the academy served as the foundation for Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ernest Nuamah.

The three players are part of a host of other players that have gone through the academy and gone ahead to play for the national team of Ghana.

Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana both played for FC Nordsjaelland after graduating from Right to Dream while Nuamah will be going into his third season with the Denmark side. The trio all featured in Ghana's game against Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Speaking to Joy Sports, Eddie Mensah expressed his satisfaction at seeing the graduates of the Academy go on to flourish in the various national teams.

"Obviously, they make us [at Right to Dream] very proud. They are part of what we are trying to do," he said.

"We are also proud of their character because that is part of what we do. It's not just the talent and how well they play.

"We are also proud of our students that end up going to schools in the US or other places and succeed. Part of our whole notion is to make a contribution to Ghana.

"Whether it's through the Black Stars or opening an educational opportunity for some of our students, we are very happy about that.

"But to see our players in the Black Stars makes us proud."

The academy has produced over 200 graduates from Ghana since its establishment in 1999 and has also seen Princess Marfo come out as the first Ghanaian female graduate to join FC Nordsjaelland.
