The biggest controversy in the world of religion is the name Jesus Christ. The Buddhist, Hindu, Islam, and other religious groups do not have much problem with themselves than they do with Christianity.

There is an open battle against the most relevant body in the world of faiths - Christianity. It is Islam against Christianity, Buddhism against Christianity, Hinduism against Christianity and in fact all religious groups against the Christian faith.

The question is: Why is it that way?

The answer that I keep getting is that, the issues other religious groups have gainst Christianity is the name Jesus. It irritates them the prominence He enjoys in Christianity. Some people, in their dark minds, are opposing the only true God, whom they ignorantly claim they are worshipping.

The excessive hatred by Islam, Hindu, Judaism and the rest towards the name Jesus Christ is because He truthfully said He is God. If we are to carefully study the various religious groups and their faith we will understand why all must run to Christ Jesus. Some claim they are showing men the God who perfects all things when they themselves could not live perfect lives. Others are just ignorantly bowing to different kinds of animals. Whiles another in proclaiming peace is also causing much chaos and destruction through his faith.

And those who are most to be pitied are the pagans. We can comfortably call those ones ignorant as the Bible says is Psalm 14:1.  To be able to know what is false, you must have the knowledge of the right. Let's get to know Jesus first and then you can make a self-assertion of your faith if you are not in Him.

Jesus is God

The birth of Christ cannot be disputed by any religious book. It can only be doubted by scientific minds but we are not talking natural science here. Science is foolishness when we come into the world of the supernatural. If science was that powerful, Einstein could have saved himself from exiting this world. Scientology itself is a hogwash religion.

Jesus was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Ghost. And a supernatural conception gives birth to a supernatural creature. Jesus was supernaturally walking on the surface of this earth because he came into this world through a supernatural means. His birth should tell us that there was something too different about him, compared to any religious founder. He didn't need a man's approval to enter into the world He created. He only needed a natural body through Mary.

Scripture in John 1:1-3, said: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."

Jesus Christ has been there before the beginning of creation. He is the word of God and the word himself is God. He created everything in this universe. He began the beginning. Jesus did not hide his identity as God. He said it plainly and demonstrated it before our very eyes.

Just look at this response:

In John 8:58 the Bible says: “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

What a bold declaration?

Only God can speak this way. Before Abraham was, Jesus was. He was the one that demanded the sacrifice of Isaac. He was the one that spoke through the burning bush to Moses. He was the one that instructed Noah to build the arch. Nobody in history ever spoke like Jesus. Whiles other religious leaders were hypothesizing, presuming and assuming, Jesus was speaking truth in confidence because the truth is Himself.

The Bible in Matthew 8:29 says: “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”

These are demons attesting to the deity of Christ Jesus. Demons knew Him because before the creation of time He was there. They knew him as the Supreme Being who will judge and destroy evil at an appointed time. They flew at his presence. Jesus is not an ordinary religious leader; He is God himself.

In Colossians 1:16 scripture says: "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him."

In Christ Jesus all things were created, both visible and invisible. Christ Jesus cannot be compared to cheap religious founders. No! It's not possible and that is why Christians are most hated. Jesus Christ is simply God, and not any other filthy god but the creator Himself.

Jesus is the Only Access way to God

John 14:6 says: "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

No one comes to God except through Jesus Christ. So no religion has access to the supreme God except Jesus, who is himself that God. It doesn't matter how many times you pray in a day, it could be five or ten, as long as it is not through Christ Jesus it is a waste of time and energy. You can fast as long as you can, but as long as you don't have Jesus Christ, it is just a mere starvation.

So in the world today many are searching for God, bowing to many different things including a common stone but noone will get closer to the truth if it's not directed at the right source. It's an effort in futility; just find a nearby bible believing church. Get yourself the bible and take the pain to read about Christ and repent and then access will be givne to you.

Jesus Takes away Sins

Funny enough, some religious leaders could not stop themselves from sinning and they couldn't forgive themselves too. But Jesus Christ never sinned and hence has the authority to forgive. This is what even spark much hatred from our Jewish brothers.

The scripture in John 1:29 says: "The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"

This is John the Baptist testifying about Jesus Christ. The only one who had the authority to take away the sins of the world. No religious leader had such testimony from anyone. The lamb of God was slain before the foundation of this world to deliver man from the power of darkness. He forgives sins because he knew no sin. No one from any religion has claimed that he forgives sins but Jesus did.

Mark 2:10

"But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralytic—"

Jesus boldly told this paralytic and all who heard him that he has the authority to forgive sins. Who else can? Not even the leader of our cousins in the other religion had that audacity. He was himself a filthy sinner, yet Christ came to die for all. Most unfortunately they have not believed.

Jesus worked miracles that no religious leader did

No one walked on water. But Jesus. Halleluya!!!

No one turned water into wine but Jesus. No one opened the eyes of the blind, but Jesus. No one caused the lame to walk but Jesus did. No one stopped the storm but Jesus did. No one fed 5000 people with three loaves of bread and five fishes but Jesus did. No one cast out demons but Jesus did No one raised the dead but Jesus did. No one died and raised himself but Jesus did. No one has ascended to heaven but Jesus has.

No religious leader named in history is said to have performed any of these miracles. Their tombs are there and their remains can be excavated but the tomb of Jesus is empty. He has defeated hades; the king of glory is seated on the throne. It is treason to match any cheap religious founder to Jesus Christ. 

Jesus Christ is the light

The Bible said in John 1:4-5, "In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

Without Christ all men dwell in darkness. Without Christ all men are lost. The world was completely dark because ignorance had eaten into the skull of the natural man. And immediately the light entered, we began to see and know. There is no religion that has been seriously persecuted like Christianity and yet not defeated. Although they persecute the faith, they haven't overcome us. Jesus is the light and no one else is. Blind men have led blind people and today we have an army of blind people thinking they can defeat the light. Jesus reigns supreme above all forever and ever. Amen!!

The Bible in John 8:12 said: "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

This is how God speaks not cowards. Whoever follows Christ Jesus does not walk in darkness. Darkness is the symbol of evil and sin. It is only darkness that will lead a man to kill his fellow man. Darkness will inspire a man to put knife on another man's throat in the name of religion. Darkness keep people in lies and deceit. But Jesus is the truth and he is the light. There is no other light. This truth sparks hatred but it is best spoken for the redemption of the vulnerable; those who have been deceived for so long.

Finally Jesus is eternal life

"Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus is life because he is the giver of life. No one can claim ownership of life except Christ. The question is, do you believe? If only you believe, you will have life eternal.

Anyone outside Christ is dead. In fact too dead to be considered dead.  But Jesus Christ is also the resurrection. If you are not in Him, he is able to resurrect you now and give you eternal life.

This is why I am a Christian and not just any Christian but a zealous preacher. The message of Christ is the greatest thing that happened to this world. Civilisation did not begin in Egypt, it began on the cross of Calvary. Men were uncivilised until they were saved. The gospel sparked the greatest voyage in the world. The gospel brought civilisation to Europe, Asia, Africa, America and everywhere. Where the gospel has not reached, the residents there will continue to live in darkness.

Jesus is civilisation and civilisation is Jesus. These should tell you that if you are not in Christ, you are in the wrong faith. Come to Jesus now! Remain blessed
