It’s either you’re in or out. This sums up the general laws governing this world.

Scripture in 1 Kings 18:21 states:

"And Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” And the people did not answer him a word."

While growing up, I’ve always had the conviction that I was never going to be shallow in whatever I do in my life. And to give meaning to that, I was prepared to go all out to get whatever I desired. My belief was simple: there are unseen forces at work in this universe. There’s the devil and Jesus Christ. One represent good and the other evil.

I knew from the very beginning that the world is a big spiritual stage and human beings are mere cast. My first thought was to belong somewhere. How to belong to any of the sides hasn’t been an issue for me as much as where to belong.

And with the ‘How’ I went deeper than anyone was prepared to go to get what s/he desires.

Whenever I meet people who are indifferent towards spirituality, I sympathise with them. You can’t be apathetic in matters of spirituality and survive in this world. I have taken many deadly paths, which many might described as adventurous, in my quest to achieve one thing after the other. All these paths today have enlightened my understanding of the world which is inhabited by spirits.

I’ve been a master mason at the blue lodge, visited Hindu temples, spoken to spirits, and once upon a time in Liberia, practiced Hinduism among others.

I’ve read various spiritual books and articles because I wanted to know about the spiritual worlds. On the Christian faith, I’ve rotated from Methodist Church to Latter Day Saints and many other denominations before arriving at my current destination. I’ve spent time with the bible and the Book of Mormon.

What was the point? What did I discover on these paths?

I’ve unraveled two things. In this world there’s the truth and the reality false which we all need to know.

The truth is Jesus Christ and the reality false is the devil. Know that there is nothing in this world that has no spiritual influence. Absolutely no one will ever understand this reality until s/he comes to the full knowledge of the truth which is Jesus Christ.

I will now explain why you can't afford to be in the middle if you want to live a happy life. It’s either you’re with the reality false or the truth. Jesus or the devil. The false is never an antithesis of the truth. Both are spiritual forces. They are both real personalities. The deal is that, the false is as real as the truth.

In Matthew 6:23-24, the Bible says:

"But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."

Note the second sentence in the scripture. "If the light in you is darkness…" I ask myself how the light could be darkness at the same time. Well, I’m convinced the carnal-minded man will see the sentence as meaningless. The light in the scripture means spiritual truth. The Greek word translated for darkness is "skotos" meaning moral and spiritual darkness. It means gloom of punishment and misery. The sentence ‘how deep is your darkness’ in the scripture means, if the light in you is false, how deep are you into that falsehood.

Many people are living in the world of false which is governed by a god who operates in that realm. He is called the false light in the Bible (2 Corinthians 11:14). He is the false light because he makes things look sensibly true when they are not. The god of falsity tries to project an image of the truth and imitates the truth but his character is known when he draws you closer to his dining table. He operates with deception. Those who have been able to get to the reality of the false light have become committed to it and operates fully in it. They’re living that life which is transient, thus the passing life of the physical world. They enjoy that life to the fullest.

Those who go deep into the light of darkness enjoy the benefits of mammon or money. They are but a few people. They serve money all the days of their lives. They are not ordinary Servants in the kingdom of darkness. They are good and faithful servants of the devil making good use of their opportunity to perish eternally.

There are others who are neither here nor there. They’re not bothered about what’s going in the real world and are full of doubt and needless arguments. They are used for sacrifices by those who are committed to the kingdom of darkness.

There are also the Christian hypocrites, who are also sacrificial sheep for the devil. Those who want to create a middle ground for themselves, are souls to be pitied. There is no middle ground in the real world of the spirits. Don't be the one to set a discussion table between God and Satan. It's a finished battle, Satan has lost, but who goes with him?

Everyone knows good and evil. But from the very day Adam ate from the tree, the devil has always tried to misrepresent the truth to mankind. Who will take a path when he knows it is dark? It’s on the desperate soul that will do that.

The teachings of the truth have been carefully done to appeal to the sensibilities of man. For example, Freemasonry has the motto: ‘brotherly love relief and truth’ which is a lie. The society is defined as a ‘peculiar system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols.’ If what you’re teaching is the truth, there will be no need to adopt allegory and symbols to present it. This society has been made to look good and appealing to people because some of the members engage in charity works. Some people sign up to the group because of the perceived good morals it teaches when in fact they’re not armed with the full fact about the society.

There are similar institutions and churches which have been presented in way that looks good to people, but the foundation is not built on truth. This is why the Bible talks about a false Christ. Deception is a major operative tool of the devil to lure people into darkness.

I laugh when those who find themselves in these places claim to be the enlightened one of this world because of some successes they have chalked - money, power and academic excellence.

Your chance is to take side now:

Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and the life. Any other life is false. It’s transient. The life in Christ is eternal. To escape the deception of this world, you need to be deep and rooted in Christ. You need to be enlightened in His word. The knowledge and wisdom of the world is foolishness and false. Don't live like there is nothing at stake in this world. Do not be a sacrificial lamb for the devil. And as a Christian, don't be a hypocrite. Live the true life of Christ. The only way out of the foolishness of the world is to become the light. If the devil has something in you, then you belong to him and he will surely come for you.

Scripture in John 14:30 states:

"Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me."

Don't be deceived, a little darkness makes you dark and the king of darkness is coming for his children. Choose where to belong and be committed and faithful. I will plead that you choose Christ and be with Christ and live Christ. Don't be a mediocre Christian. Be the die-hard one. I have never seen a mediocre Hindu or Muslim. They don't play with their values even though what they have is not the truth.

You can't be a Christian and belong to a lodge or any other secret society. You can't serve God and the devil. The lodge is religious because they worship an unseen being. The chair of the blue lodge is called the 'worshipful master'. The use of the word 'worshipful' should tell you that it is a religion. Some call themselves Christian freemasons. There is nothing like a Christian Freemason, as long as you are in the lodge, you are not a Christian; you are a mere churchgoer.

You can't be a Christian and practice voodoo. There are people who sit in churches and still visit shrines. That person has a seed of the devil in him or her and belongs to the dark world. You can't be corrupt, be a liar and call yourself a child of the light. There are forces at work and these forces have their own characteristics or nature.

Know where you belong from now! There is no middle ground for humanity. You can't be neutral. If you think you are, it's a deception entrenched in your mind by the devil.

Go for Jesus and live like Jesus!
