Our dear JOY 99.7 FM FAMILY!
WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS THAT IS FULL OF THE JOY OF THE LORD; AND A VERY HAPPY, PROSPEROUS, PEACEFUL AND JOYFUL NEW YEAR!
We dearly miss all of you, and pray for the best of God's rich blessings to flood your paths in 2008, and for the Lord to bless all of your good programs on air around the globe.
JOY FM has really reached out to millions of people worldwide, with very good productive, entertaining, and educative programs in 2007, and we pray that the excellent work will continue, with high ratings.
No matter our success story at any stage of life for any activity or situation, we should learn to persevere for higher results without resting on our oars. That can easily breed complacency and cause us to become overconfident, parochial in outlook, dormant, or rusted. Then all of our testimony becomes old, stale, and outdated.
To move forward, we must look beyond our horizons, become creative and focused, and pursue our vision with passion and determination that is mixed with true humility, teachable spirit, unflinching faith, and cooperative efforts. That is the only way to make real progress as a team. Together Each Accomplishes More (TEAM).
A good leader always makes plans with the end in his or her mind.
We only need to watch carefully that in the process of advancing towards greater programs, competitiveness, productivity, success in our marriages or marriage plans, fruitful family affairs, business transactions, educational pursuits, personal development, ministerial activities etc., we do not ignore, adulterate, or deviate from the fundamental principles that should be fortified with moral, ethical, sagacious, and godly values.
We are constantly aware that there cannot be progress in any aspect of life without change. Simply put: No change, no progress. Any higher vision must be accompanied by the necessary changes and sacrifices that are necessary to move us towards the intended goal. I even had to willingly get out of my bed and change location by walking from my bedroom to my computer in order to make any progress with this message.
The speed of an aircraft in the air depends a lot on the speed with which it takes off. Therefore, the way we end 2007 will have a tremendous effect on how we start and proceed in 2008. May the Lord help us to prepare our runways now, in order to take off properly and be able to fly very well in 2008.
With Christ in our vessel, we can always smile at every storm. So, cheer up!
In my latest book "Differences between men and women", there is a statement I made on the first page: "Storms are for a reason and also for a season. If you discover the reason you grow wiser. If you outlast the season, you grow stronger."
Below is a copy of our 25th Wedding Anniversary mail and ministry update that we have been sending to hundreds of people around the world since August 2007, which includes pictures of the Bridal Fair that people are still viewing and enjoying. We actually have thousands of e-mail addresses, and there seems to be no end to the list of people that we can send e-mails to. In every church that I preach, I tell the congregation to tune in at 8:30 pm (Ghana Time) to the Sunday "Hope For Your Family Broadcast" on JOY FM.
Thank you very much for your love, friendship, fellowship, and support.
Stay strong, very hopeful, and abundantly blessed in the Lord. Expect great things from the Lord in 2008, as you meditate on scripture and pray daily, and seek to live in faith and obedience in order to prepare properly and receive all that God has in store for you and your loved ones.
Proverbs 3:1-10; Psalm 55:22; & Isaiah 41:10.
