When they are old enough to know the dangers associated with it, then .....
Many are roaming, watching, tracking, with evil intentions.
May God protect our children in this new age.
The actress' comment comes as it has become trendy for people especially celebrities to show off their offsprings on social media. Not only do some of them post pictures and videos but some go to the extent of creating social media accounts for their children.
According to a new report by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP); social media bring benefits to children and teenagers, including enhancing communication, broadening social connections, and learning technical skills.
However, the report said it but can also expose them to risks, such as cyberbullying, “Facebook depression,” and “sexting".
Kate Henshaw said kids should only be exposed to social media when they are old enough to know and understand the dangers associated with it.
She explained that despite the positives associated with social media, there are many hidden dangers, especially to children.
“My daughter will make her choice to be on social media,” she stated.
