Inhabitants of Accra’s biggest slum Old Fadama are expressing worry about what they say is government’s total neglect of the residents there.
The inhabitants, most of whom hail from the three regions of the north say they struggle to scratch a living with their education and sanitation situation in very poor states.
In the first of our Slum Radio Project stories this month, Joy FM's Senior International Correspondent Jefferson Sackey visited the community and has filed the attached report.
This month, Joy News is collaborating with Amnesty International in a campaign to highlight social and economic issues in slums in Accra. The Slum Radio Project will focus on slum communities in Accra and Nairobi, Kenya.
