George Hikah Benson, Upper West Regional Minister has urged Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the New patriotic Party (NPP) government in next year's general elections.
He said it was the surest way to guarantee the continued enjoyment of the numerous socio-economic developments implemented throughout the country.
Mr Benson urged voters in next year's elections to vote massively for both the presidential and parliamentary candidates of the NPP to ensure a convincing first round victory for the party.
The Regional Minister made the appeal when he paid a courtesy call on the Nandom Naa and some of his divisional sub-chiefs at his palace at Nandom.
He assured the Nandom Naa, Naa Dr Puobe Chiir that his request for more development projects for his traditional area in particular and the Upper West in general would be provided within the constraints of the government budget.
Mr Benson promised to continue from where his predecessor left off and also to unite and mobilize the people to better their lot.
Welcoming the Minister and his Deputy, Mrs Winifred Asibi Dy- Yakah, the Nandom Naa assured them of the maximum cooperation of chiefs in his traditional area so that they could collectively work for the good of the region.
The Minister later inspected the upgrading projects at the Lawra secondary school, which has chosen as one the model schools.
