Wife of hiplife legend, Reggie Rockson has fumed at the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, over his failure to invite her husband to a meeting with stakeholders in the creative arts.
On Wednesday, November 10, the IGP interacted with some personalities in the creative and showbiz arena, at the police headquarters in Accra.
The essence of the engagement was to allow the Ghana Police Service to clarify some concerns by folks in the industry. This was on the back of the recent arrest of dancehall artiste, Shattawale, and hip hop icon, Medikal.
But reacting to this, Zilla Limann said the decision of the IGP to allegedly exclude Reggie Rockstone from the meeting is a sign of disrespect to the hiplife legend.
According to her, Reggie Rockstone is a towering figure in the industry, and therefore a meeting of such magnitude and importance should have included his views and participation.
In a video sighted by Myjoyonline.com, the two, Reggie Rockstone and his wife were seen in a car arguing over the issue; with some kids at the backseat.
While Zilla was fuming and venting her spleen, Reggie Rockstone on the other hand appeared unperturbed about the issue; urging his wife to maintain her calm and disregard the issue.
But Zilla would have none of that; she was firing from all cylinders and lambasting the police hierarchy for the disregard and unfair treatment meted to her husband.
Tons of social media users who have seen the video have applauded the 'bravery' and 'frankness' of Reggie Rockstone's wife, praising her for her unalloyed support for her husband and her ability to speak truth to power.
