Red Bull Academywill today, play host to Division One side Pure Joy Stars in a friendly game at the Academy’s Complex, Sogakope in the Volta Region.
The game is to prepare the two sides for their respective assignments in the National Division One League, scheduled to kick start later in the month.
According to officials of Red Bull Soccer Academy, the match was to keep the players in good shape for the competition after their last friendly against Dynamite FC of Nigeria last Friday was cancelled due to difficult travelling arrangements by the Nigerians.
Skipper Livingstone Logoh, speaking on behalf of his colleagues said the late cancellation of Friday’s game left his team disappointed but said Wednesday’s game against Pure Joy will be a good opportunity to pay their opponents back in their own coin for the 2-1 loss his team suffered last November at the same venue.
