Richmond Boakye Yiadom was given a start in the Italaian Serie A on Sunday after coming off the bench in the last few games for Atalanta.

The Ghanaian retained his position throughout the entire game for Atalanta against Torino away from home.

Boakye Yiadom and his Atalanta side managed to gain a point on the road with both teams failing to score in the league game.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played the second half of the Serie A game between Udinese and Genoa. The Ghanaian replaced Bruno Fernandes for the second half of Udinese’s home game when the scores were 2-2.

Udinese however failed to hold on conceding two goals in the second half to lose the game by four goals to two.

Antonio Di Natale and Silvan Widmer scored both goals for Udinese with Giovanni Marchese, Iago Falque, Alessandro Matri and Jurah Kucka grabbing the four for Genoa.

Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien both missed AC Milan’s home defeat against Palermo in the league on Sunday night.

Muntari missed the game due to a suspension after accumulating the maximum number of yellow cards to serve a match ban.

Michael Essien was named on the AC Milan bench but failed to make an appearance in the game.

Christian Zapata scored an own goal in the first half before Paulo Dybala added three minutes later as Palermo claimed all three points from the Milan club.

Andre Ayew was on the winning side in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday night despite his Olypique Marseille side ending their home game against Lens with ten men after Jacques Alaix Romao saw red.

The Ghanaian played in the entire duration of the 2-1 victory for Olympique Marseille. Nicolas N’Koulou opened the scoring for Marseille but Baptiste Guillaume cancelled the lead to send both clubs into the interval with a 1-1 scoreline.

Florian Thauvin scored the only goal in the second half that was enough to secure all three points for Olympique Marseille in ligue 1
