Multimedia reporters in Maputo, Mozambique covering the 10th All Africa Games have maintained that, Randy Abbey and Jones Abu Alhassan’s scuffle happened.
The leader of the Black Meteors team, Randy Abbey had earlier denied reports of a confrontation between himself and Jones Abu Alhassan who is the leader of the Black Princesses team over superiority on the Ghana Football contingent to the games.
However, the multimedia team in Maputo which comprise Tony Bebli of Joy FM in Accra, Gideon Okyere Anim from Asempa FM, Jerry Asare and Modestus Zame both of Multi TV, still maintain their earlier reports of serious confrontation between the two officials.
The Black Princesses took off on a bright start after beating Tanzania 2-1 in their opening group game.
The Black Meteors are yet to play their first group game after the withdrawals of Libya and Madagascar from the Games and will now battle host nation, Mozambique and South Africa in group A.
