Ghana attacker, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has completed his return to English football after Birmingham sealed a deal for him on Wednesday from Spartak Moscow.
Quincy moves to St Andrews on an initial loan deal worth €1.5million, and will run until January.
The Blues will then have the option of extending the deal to run through to the end of the season.
Should the forward remain with the club until next summer Alex McLeish will then make a decision on whether or not to take up the option of a €4.6million permanent transfer.
The 22-year-old began his career with Dutch giants Ajax, before moving to Arsenal in 2002.
But Quincy left the Gunners for Moscow in the summer of 2006 after becoming increasingly frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities.
He was then loaned to Spanish outfit Celta Vigo after a season with Spartak, impressing during his time in the Primera Liga.
