Nana Paare cited Ms Joyce Aidoo, the Gomoa District Chief Executive, herself and other well-educated female citizens in the area who had attained appreciable levels of education. She advised the youth in the district, particularly the teenage girls pursuing various educational programmes, to do away with negative acts that could lead them astray and make their future 93unpleasant". Nana Esi Otwiwah, Queen-Mother of Gomoa-Kyiren, thanked Nana Paare for the package and said she would do everything possible to encourage school girls in the town to study hard to win the award. Present at the function, which coincided with the launching of a 100,000,000-cedi educational endowment fund for the town was Nana Okotwer Bekoe, Gomoa-Adaahene. GNA
