The first car and property tracking security device in the world would be launched in Ghana on Tuesday, a statement from PLC Limited, local partners of Tramigo T22 said on Monday.
The statement released by Mr. High K. Aryee, Chief Executive Officer of Proffworld Link Consult (PLC), said the device uses the cheapest and latest technology to curb crime and protect property.
It said Tramigo T22 was the first GPS/GSM Tracking device in the world available with local detailed mapping to over 100 countries.
“At this time when crime has become so sophisticated and the increase of accidents on our roads, the introduction of the Tramigo T22 therefore into the Ghanaian market is timely,” it said.
It said Tramigo T22, the best selling GSM/GPS tracker in the world, would assist security agencies, corporate bodies and individuals in protecting their life and property.
“The Tramigo T22 is perfect for entrepreneurs and small companies with its easy-of-use and no monthly fee business model. With Tramigo T22 customized TLD Landmarks for Ghana and over 100 countries, this technology enables busy business owners, companies, transport owners, taxi owners and drivers to track, control and monitor their vehicles and assets simply from their GSM phone,” Mr Aryee said.
It said Tramigo T22 was equipped with M1 Fleet PC and M1 Love Smartphone software that makes fleet management and monitoring so easy and affordable.
The statement said the Tramigo T22 was designed to report a range of vital information, such as location, speed and duration of trips by any vehicle (including boats, trucks, etc) directly to an authorized mobile phone.
It also generates journey reports and monitors the usage of vehicles by advising when the ignition of a vehicle is switched on and off.
“There are no monthly fees, no computers, no internet; user just pays the normal SMS-text messages via any network in Ghana,” the statement said.
