Ghana will be aiming at a semi-final berth when the Black Maidens take to the field against Korea Democratic People’s Republic in a quarter-final fixture at the ongoing FIFA U-17 women’s world cup in Jordan
The Black Maidens defied several odds to beat the USA and Paraguay to get this far. Two players who were instrumental to Ghana’s success, Rafiatu Kulchirie and Grace Asantewaa will miss out on coach Evans Adotey’s line up due to illness and yellow card accumulation respectively.
Despite the set back, Evans Adotey syas he will still weather the storm.
