Milan midfielder Ronaldinho insists that the key to his side's hopes of progressing in the Champions League will be to prevent Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney from scoring in his own backyard.
The two teams will meet in the round of 16 on Wednesday night, with Rooney and co. having won 3-2 in the first leg at the San Siro.
The former Everton hitman bagged a brace in that game, and coach Leonardo's charges are now wary of the forward's form.
"Rooney was incredible in the first match," Ronaldinho said, according to The Sun.
"We have watched videos of the game and the key to victory for us will be stopping him receiving the ball close to our penalty area.
"If we can stop him our own options soar. We can beat United."
The Brazilian also insisted that he is treating the encounter at Old Trafford with the same magnitude as he would a final.
"As far as I am concerned, this match is like the Champions League final itself," he added.
"I see a very attacking game with many goals."
