The Republic of Namibia is expected to hold its overseas voting for presidential elections and national assembly elections in Ghana.

In a press release, the High Commission of Namibia served notice to all its registered citizens living in Ghana, Benin, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Togo and Liberia to make available their valid voters’ ID to be able to exercise their constitutional right.

The event will take place at the premises of the High Commission in Ghana at Airport Residential Area, House No. 21, Nortei-Ababio Street on Wednesday, November 13 from 7 am to 9 pm.

Only Namibian diasporans with a valid national voters’ ID would be allowed to vote.

MEDIA RELEASE 

OVERSEAS VOTING FOR THE 2019 PRESIDENTIAL AND NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS 

This media release serves as a notification to all duly registered Namibia citizens in possession of a valid voter's card residing in Ghana, Benin, Sierra Leone, Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Liberia that the 2019 Namibian Presidential and National Assembly Elections will be held on 13th November 2019 for Namibians living abroad at the premises of the High Commission in Ghana. 

The voting process will take place as follows: 

Election Venue: The High Commission of the Republic of Namibia

Election Address: House No. 21, Nortei-Ababio Street, Airport Residential Area, Accra-Ghana

Election Date: Wednesday, 13th November 2019

Time: 7 am to 9 pm

Who may vote: Namibian citizens in possession of a valid Voter's Card
