President John Evans Atta Mills will from Thursday, November 05, 2009, pay a three-day working visit to the Ashanti Region.
As part of his itinerary, the president will inspect works at the Sokoban Wood Village, address a durbar of chiefs at Manhyia, and visit Ejura Farms. He will also pay a courtesy call on the Mamponghene, and also address a durbar of chiefs and people of the Adansi area in Obuasi, on Saturday.
A statement by the Head of Communications at the Castle, Osu, Koku Anyidoho said President Mills after the Obuasi durbar, will head for Sunyani to be part of the 50th Anniversary celebration of the creation of the Brong Ahafo Region.
