Private businesses should at least twice a year have an opportunity to directly engage President Mills with their concerns and challenges through the council of the Private Enterprise Foundation.
PEF Director, Dr. Osei Boeh-Ocansey told Joy Business they are hoping to use such encounters to advance the cause of the private sector.
Dr. Boeh-Ocansey said the first of such meetings was held with the Vice-President, Mr John Dramani Mahama, on Tuesday.
He said the presidency stands the chance of benefiting directly from the experiences of business managers in the country and that can foster policy formulation in the private sector.
The Foundation comprises members of the Association of Ghanaian Industries, Chamber of Mines, Ghana Bankers Association, and Chamber of commerce.
The rest are the Federation of Association of Ghanaian Exporters, Ghana Employers Association and other private sector groups.
