Premium Bank is set to penetrate the SME sector with its new branch at Markola.
The bank said it is strategizing to meet the needs of SMEs hence the need to open a new branch at Makola in the Central Business District of Accra.
The new Makola branch of the Premium Bank is aimed at tapping into the small and medium scale enterprises of the central business district of Accra so as to boost economic growth in the country.
“Premium Bank is actually a bank for SME. Any need you have on SME we are there for you. It’s best that we are located here in Makola. We have the right customer safety desk to address the challenge of SMEs,” the branch manager, Jemila Sifah revealed to Joy Business.
Speaking on the fortunes of the bank by the end of the year, Jemila Sifah revealed that Premium bank will be considering raking in 10 to 20 percent of the market share in Accra.
“We are looking at having a market share of 10 to 20 percent and hopefully expand in 2018,” she said.
The new branch is located on the ground floor of the Methodist Bookshop Building. In addition to the new branch, Premium Bank has two other branches in Accra and Takoradi.
