Leonardo Ulloa scored late for Premier League leaders Leicester City to clinch a dramatic 1-0 win over Norwich City at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester went into the game looking to recover from their late loss at Arsenal, and it looked like they would have to settle for a point against struggling Norwich.
But in the 89th minute Marc Albrighton drilled in a cross which Ulloa met to secure a huge victory for Claudio Ranieri's men.
The result sees Leicester five points clear of Tottenham and Arsenal, who play on Sunday against Swansea and Manchester United respectively.
Chelsea fought back for a victory against in-form Southampton as Saints goalkeeper Fraser Forster was finally beaten in a 2-1 win for the Blues at St Mary's
The first half saw Forster set a new top-flight record for Southampton, with the shot-stopper surpassing 667 minutes without conceding a goal.
The home team went in front when Shane Long capitalised on a poor header from Baba Rahman before dinking the ball over goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Chelsea hit back with 15 minutes left on the clock when Cesc Fabregas' cross evaded everyone and nestled in the back of the net.
The comeback was complete when Willian sent in a corner and Branislav Ivanovic powerfully headed home.
West Ham United defeated former manager Sam Allardyce and his Sunderland side 1-0 at Upton Park in the day's lunchtime kickoff.
Michail Antonio scored the only goal of the game, curling home on 30 minutes with a fine left-footed finish.
Sunderland were unable to find a response as the Hammers held on to climb to fifth in the table.
Stoke City piled more misery on bottom-of-the-table Aston Villa as they triumphed 2-1 at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke took the lead on 51 minutes when Marko Arnautovic kept his cool from the penalty spot after Phil Bardsley was brought down in the box by Ashley Westwood.
Arnautovic doubled his side's advantage just four minutes later, meeting Xherdan Shaqiri's cross at the back post to convert past goalkeeper Mark Bunn.
Villa scored a late consolation when Leandro Bacuna thundered into the corner for Remi Garde's side.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth avoided a third straight league loss as they ground out a 0-0 draw at Watford.The result sees Bournemouth five points above the relegation zone while Watford are 10th in the standings.
