It was a charged atmosphere of praise and worship when thousands of Ghanaian gospel music lovers converged at the Accra Sports Stadium on June 30, 2024 for Joe Mettle's annual concert dubbed Praise Reloaded.
The event brought together, not only gospel music enthusiasts but preachers of the gospel, entertainment industry stakeholders, statesmen and women, the media and generally music lovers.
There were amazing song ministration sessions by CT Praise, Team Eternity Ghana, Enuonyam, MOG, Ohemaa Mercy, Pastor Isaiah, Nathaniel Bassey, Sunmisola Agbebi, Kofi Peprah, Luigi Maclean and Jumbo Aniebiet.
A surprise act on the night was American gospel musician William McDowell.
These ministers took turns to put up powerful performances that got the patrons yearning for more.
Although the 40,000 capacity stadium was not filled to the gunnels, it recorded and impressive turn-out which served Joe's purpose of moving to the venue.
In the past eleven years, Praise Reloaded brought together thousands of believers for an evening of undeterred praise and worship. This year, Joe Mettle Ministries decided to break barriers by removing ticket fees and moving to a bigger venue, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to experience this highly anticipated evening of worship and encounter the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.
The 12th Praise Reloaded, themed 'The Holy Spirit Encounter', was not only characterised by awesome performances; the organisers have received plaudits for the stage, sound, lighting and entire production.
Also present at the programme were Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, General Overseer of the Action Chapel International Ministry; Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei, Founder of Pleasant Place Church, and Bishop Tackie-Yaboi, Leader of Victory Bible Church International.
Others were Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie, General Overseer of The Potter's City; and Prophet Gideon Danso, Global Lead Pastor for Empowerment Worship Centre.
Joe Mettle Ministries is dedicated to spreading the message of hope, love, and faith through music and ministry. Founded by award-winning gospel artist Joe Mettle, the ministry aims to inspire and uplift believers through concerts, worship events, and charitable initiatives.
