Popular UK-based TV host, Piers Morgan has lauded President Nana Akufo-Addo’s message to Ghanaians amid the fight against the new coronavirus pandemic.
On his daily show, Good Morning Britain on ITV, the journalist noted that, in times like the one the world is facing, “you [leaders] you [got to] have a simple message to get through to people.
Reading Akufo-Addo’s message: “We know how to bring the economy back to life. What we do not know is how to bring people back to life,” Morgan said “that to me is what we talking about.”
But the Englishman is not the only one to have lauded the Ghanaian leader for his inspirational words.
Posting on Twitter, Director-General of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus wrote: “Thank you for sending such a powerful message to the world, my brother @NAkufoAddo, President of #Ghana. Together, for a healthier, safer, fairer world! Together against #COVID19!”

The two cities are on lockdown for 14 days as part of measures to stop the spread of the Covid-19.
