The Ashanti Regional Police have given the assurance that the suspected murderers of Samuel Ennin would be prosecuted.
Ennin was the Ashanti Regional chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association who was shot and killed last year by unknown gunmen.
The police in April that year arrested two persons, Kwame Ayew and Sherrif Kabore suspected to be behind the killing.
But these two have not prosecuted warranting a threat by journalists in Kumasi to hit the streets if the two were not prosecuted.
Speaking to Joy News, the Ashanti Regional Police Public Relation Officer, Inspector Mohammed Tanko, said the delay were the result of some complications but gave the assurance that the two will prosecuted in due course.
