The Manhyia Palace in Kumasi says it has a video footage of Thursday’s bloody clash at the palace, courtesy a Close Circuit Television and will make it available to the police in their investigations.
Some angry youth of Atwima Agogo in the Atwima Nwabiagya District and supporters of the town's chief, Nana Okyere Opoku II, clashed at the Manhyia Palace yesterday resulting in serious injuries to three persons.
Police said they had so far arrested three people, including a key suspect to assist in investigations.
Inspector Mohammed Tanko, in charge of the investigations, told Joy News two of those arrested have been released on police enquiry bail while they still hold the key suspect.
He told Joy News they would prosecute all who would be found to have played roles in the violent act.
