Police say it is on a manhunt for an unidentified lone robber terrorizing residents of some affluent communities in Accra.
CCTV footage of some of the robberies sighted by JoyNews shows the suspect sneaking into people's homes and holding his victims at gunpoint.
He also demands money and other valuables from them.
Residents are unhappy that the suspect remains at large even though they have provided evidence they believe should have led to his arrest by now.
Meanwhile, the police have assured the public in a statement issued on Wednesday that the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage of a lone robber circulating on social media was already being investigated.
“Police intelligence teams have been working on the matter for some time now to get the suspect arrested to face justice, and we will surely get him,” the police added in the statement.
