Four out of seven suspected highway robbers who blocked a section of the Agona Nkwanta-Half Assini Highway at Apimenim, attacked and robbed passengers of five vehicles of their valuables at gunpoint in the early hours of Tuesday have been arrested.

The robbers, who were believed to have travelled from Kumasi to the Western Region, blocked the highway with broken tree branches, forcing the drivers to stop.
