The Black Stars earned a slim win over Nicaragua on Tuesday night to end their September international break on a high.
Ghana had suffered a 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Brazil four days earlier before facing the Central Americans in Lorca, Spain.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored the game's only goal in the 35th minute to give Otto Addo's side the needed victory after the game.
The game against Nicaragua was that Ghanaians felt the Black Stars should have won by more goals with just the 1-0 win raising many doubts ahead of the FIFA World Cup in November.
