The New Patriotic Patriotic Party (NP) is holding a press conference on the recent attacks by some members of the Homeland Study Group Foundation.
The group's claim is informed by a plebiscite in 1956 which created a unitary Ghana, on the back of which the group is demanding autonomy.
Government has disputed claims that the plebiscite that saw to the creation of the Volta Region was time-bound.
General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu who is addressing the conference wants all political parties to unite in condemning the event.
